Liliana Pedraja

Ph.D. in Science Education, M.S. in Science Education, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile

Liliana Pedraja is Professor of Business Administration in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Tarapacá (Chile), where she directs the Center for Regional Research (CEUTA).  She received a Ph.D. in higher education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (Santiago), as well as a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Valencia (Spain).  Dr. Pedraja is the author of numerous publications on academic leadership and strategic planning, as well as on higher education in Chile.  She has received many research grants and is a member of the study group in education sponsored by Chile’s National Committee on Scientific and Technological Research (CONICYT).  Dr. Pedraja is currently working with Professor Cristina González at UC Davis under a CONICYT research grant relating to academic leadership and strategic planning.  Dr. Pedraja can be reached at
